What other expenses should I plan for?

In addition to your investment in the design and development of your new website, you’ll need to plan on these additional expenses (estimates are given):

  • Web Hosting ~ $25/mo
  • Domain Name ~ $15/yr
  • Legal Policies ~ $100/yr
  • Website Maintenance ~ $150/mo

Luckily, all of this and more are included with my monthly Care Plan!

How long will it take?

It depends on the size of the project and the scope of work involved, but my standard websites are handed over in about 6 to 8 weeks.

The process goes a lot faster if you have all content and imagery ready beforehand.

Do you work with small businesses?

Yes, I do. I love breaking bigger projects up into phases for those who may have a smaller budget. Instead of going all-in on a large website build, we’ll split your project up into phases so you can get online quickly and without blowing your budget.

Then, we can expand and add more pages or features as your business grows.

Can you write my website copy?

I can help you write your website copy, but I highly recommend hiring a copywriter who specializes in your industry to get the best results. If you feel comfortable writing it yourself, I am happy to optimize it for SEO (search engine optimization) purposes.

What are your rates?

The question “how much is a website? can only be answered once the details are in place after both of us understand the scope of the project.

You can take a look at my price ranges to get an idea of what level of investment you’ll need, depending on your requirements.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, it’s common for web designers to require an upfront deposit before starting any work. I ask for 50% down and 50% before handing the project over to you.
When would I need to have everything to you?
I need to receive all of your images, copy, and content at least 1 week before starting your project.

This gives me enough time to review your content and ensures I have everything that I need to get started.

If you need more time gathering your materials (such as if you need to hire a copywriter or photographer), you can let me know and we’ll schedule your project’s start date accordingly.
